I have had the pleasure of working beside Paul Silva with the River Valley Investors(RVI) since 2004. In all my dealings with Paul I have found him to be honest, hard working, effectively communicative, and extremely capable. I have always been struck by his professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
When Paul came to RVI we were an early stage angel group, grappling over logistical and procedural questions and unable to take full advantage of the significant experience and connections within the group. Paul reorganized the group's structure and procedures to better utilize those assets to maximize our clout.
Under Paul's leadership RVI has dramatically increased deal-flow and recruitment. Paul has not only increased synergy with other angel groups and other organizations to cultivate outside deal-flow sources but has also worked hard to increase in-house deal referrals from RVI members. Quality deal-flow is the life-blood of any angel group and Paul recognized and corrected our problems in this area.
His leadership was equally vital in improving our strategy and procedures regarding recruitment. He has not only helped attract and retain more members he has helped us attract and retain quality members.
In the three years since Paul has aligned with RVI he has worked tirelessly to improve our organization and his efforts have been rewarded with remarkable progress. I have the highest regard for Paul both as a person and a business associate.
