RVI is comprised of 30-35 extremely independent business people from diverse backgrounds with already overbooked schedules. RVI is not an easy organization to manage or direct.
Due to the Silvas’ ability to anticipate member needs and to follow through, RVI meetings are interesting, well-run and on-schedule.
Their care for the organization and its members is evident from their preliminary screening of new presenters and their introduction of new members to RVI’s resources.
The Silvas bring a high degree of intelligence and organization to both managing deal flow and post-presentation due diligence. The Silvas are quick to recognize that as non-professional venture investors, most RVI members can best bring ample business experience and judgment to new investment proposals but do not have the time to spend hours tracking down multiple opportunities. The Silvas are happy to do the “legwork” required to follow up on member insights.
